The Conscious Daydream

Welcome to The Conscious Daydream! This podcast serves as a safe space for those on the journey to becoming the best version of themselves who are currently undergoing a spiritual transformation. When what you’ve ”always done” and ”always thought” is no longer aligning with the trajectory you are experiencing, it often implies that you are heading for a new understanding of life and what it means to be alive on the planet. Congratulations! We celebrate your evolution and are happy to join you on your ascension journey. Andrea and Melody are two kindred Souls on the planet who crossed paths in this lifetime at the young age of 5. Twenty years later, their friendship has served a bigger purpose of raising the consciousness of the planet for the highest good of all involved. Growth can be scary if the people around you are unwilling or unable to change along with you. Not everyone on our path is meant to travel with us for the long term. This unfortunate experience of loss can leave someone feeling alone and heartbroken. We, too, have been in your shoes, which has motivated the creation of a Soul Tribe. An awakened space where Lightworkers and Starseeds can feel at peace, accepted, and comfortable to be the best version of themselves. Many topics will be discussed on this platform, and we welcome ideas from our daydreamers on what they want to hear. This platform intends to grow into in-person, live events that will connect us with the community in ceremonies consisting of meditation, dance, cauldrons, prayer, wood burning, tea, and more! Again, with the collective contribution of all of you - the sky is the limit. When we heal our own inner world, we heal the whole outer world around us. Together, we rise by lifting others. And lastly, we are all here to walk each other home. We love you. You are our family. And we are so happy you are here, with great excitement to get to know you. We encourage outreach through our email: theconsciosdaydream@gmail.com. We will update you on our website and the events we will hold in the coming days. Namaste Friends. ”Don’t quit your daydream.”

Melodic Meditation

Tuesday Feb 20, 2024

Tuesday Feb 20, 2024

This short musical track was created to relax the listener into meditation. Here is your permission and your opportunity to put down what you carry. Be still and know.
Sound has been known to be a great healer. When chanting the sound om, we align our bodies to match the natural frequency of our planet, which is 432 hertz. When we sing to bring ourselves and others closer to God and the Divine, again we are in a natural state of healing. We are human beings, not human doings. Allow yourself to breathe and to dig deeper into your organic essence of existing. Enjoy the air dancing in and out of your lungs as you inhale and exhale. Know that you are Love, and you are also loved. The Universe holds you as being precious. You are an integral part of this human experience.
Whoever you currently think you are... thank you.

Death

Monday Feb 19, 2024

Monday Feb 19, 2024

Something most Westerners have an issue discussing is the fact that we all die. Death is a messy subject and certainly isn't the most popular thing to say on a first date or when hanging out with a new group of people. Although the secret is no secret at all, Americans treat death as something that is taboo and ultimately avoided.
In this episode, Andrea and Melody go into the details of death meditation, the importance of facing this morbid fact, and why death can serve as a liberation when used as a conscious tool to redefine how you're living your life. If you got the news that you only have 24 hours left to live, how would that affect how you went about your day? Would you relish the life you created or wish you had done things differently? Would you treat people differently? Why do we tend to act as if we'll live forever? And how would your life change if you thought about dying every day? Philosophers have discussed all fears rooted in the number one fear of dying. Suppose you're no longer afraid of detaching from this human experience, and you free yourself from lingering fears that would usually hold you back from creating and experiencing your daydream(s). How would your life be different from what it is at this moment?
Life is happening now, not tomorrow, not yesterday: now. Death is also happening now. Which one will you choose? As for me, I choose to live fully in the direction of my wildest daydream because this moment could be my last. So connect, love, enjoy, and celebrate - as if your life depends on it.

Before the creation of The Conscious Daydream was born, it was imagined. Andrea and Melody have been on the path to cultivating a conscious community through Podcasts and event gatherings for almost three years now. Before the first introductory episode was recorded, Andrea invited Melody for a private tea ceremony to set the intentions and invoke Universal support. Andrea and Melody describe the ceremony: what they experienced and observed through this modality of manifestation.
Meditation and sacred activities such as yoga, tea ceremony, journaling, and breathwork are vital to our spiritual growth and mental health, along with the importance of involving oneself in community groups and why it is essential to share our spiritual path with others.
Sitting still and focusing on breathing can be very challenging for many people who do not have a lot of practice in this field. The beginning stages can cause frustration or sadness, depending on how deep the person can go into it. Many focus on distracting themselves from their thought patterns instead of diving into them. "The mind is a terrible master but a wonderful servant." However, work is involved to achieve this internal peace and organization, which can be found through meditation and prayer. Prayer is talking to God, whereas meditation is listening to God. Both are necessary to move forward on one's spiritual path.

What is a witch? Is it a one-size-fits-all or a matter of perception? Andrea and Melody discuss what it means to be a witch from their points of view and their experience with stepping into their innate abilities to work alongside the Universe to manifest their visions of the future they intend to experience for the highest good of all involved. Historically, being a witch was anyone who stepped outside the box of what society considered the norm. If a woman used red berries to make lipstick, she risked being accused of witchcraft and sorcery for the reaction men might have to her accentuated beauty. In today's world, being a witch and using "witchcraft" is often related to Hollywood: casting spells, having a back cat, and using magical powers to control your desired outcome at the expense of others. That might be true for some, but that's not the subject we discuss here. Being a witch is stepping into your empowerment. Not allowing anyone or anything to dictate or change who you are uniquely here to be by learning what you like, clearly setting goals, and never settling for less than that. Being a witch is knowing your Creator, which can be identified as God, the Universe, Jesus, Krishna, Ganesh, Buddha, none of these, or all of the above; knowing what works for your belief system, staying true to that, and honoring your chosen path.
The discussion of Andrea and Melody's personal history of stepping into the magical version of themselves is also covered, and moving through that transition from the mundane to the infinite was discovered and traveled.

Galentine's Day / Valentine's Day

Wednesday Feb 14, 2024

Wednesday Feb 14, 2024

Happy Love Day to all the women out there! This episode highlights women's empowerment and the Divine Beauty that the Feminine essence naturally upholds. Love to all the men out there - but spoiler alert, this one is for the gals! Andrea & Melody attended a Galentine's Day event at the Floridian in Downtown St. Petersburg. This event was for the ladies and left us feeling good about being women! Beauty shouldn't ever be shamed, nor should women feel like they need to dim their light to obtain acceptance and to "fit in." Shine! Shine! Shine! It is our birthright as women to express the Divine Feminine within ourselves. So dance, sing, play, create, dress up, and feel sexy! We applaud you for being the best version of yourself and for feeling good in your skin!

In today's society, there is a rise in focus on the equality of masculine and feminine roles. Although equal rights and respect are appropriate in both of these expressions of what it means to be a human being - Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine are very different for each individual who is embodying these roles.
Dancing in a class of organized choreography allowed us to embody the Divine Feminine energy fully and, therefore, to relax into the Divine Masculine essence as they led us into the motions of the music and the artistic experience of Bachata, which originated in the Dominican Republic.
We hope and pray that some of what we are sharing resonates with your soul and challenges our daydreamers in a healthy way to seat themselves further into the truth of the subject(s) we touch on.
Keep dreaming!
